Ride Description

The Himalaya and the polar express are circular, undulating rides. The Himalaya is a little bigger and runs longer than the polar express. The path of both rides is a wavy, tilted circular path.

The graphs below show the centripetal acceleration for each of the rides as a finction of time. The rides begin at t=0. As time increases, the rides go faster and faster thus increasing the centripetal acceleration. Some of the undulations may be responsible for the waves seen in the Himalaya data. Both rides seem to reach a maximum centripetal acceleration of approximately 1 g.
