This interaction gives rise to several new types of strongly nonlinear magnetic dynamics that cannot be generated by magnetic fields. I will describe our recent spectroscopic measurements of these dynamics in ferromagnetic nanoparticles and nanowires. I will also discuss emerging spintronic technologies such as nonvolatile memory, microwave oscillators and detectors that utilize interactions between spin currents and magnetization.
