Midway Physics Day

Midway Physics Day at the South Carolina State Fair offers an opportunity for students to learn physics in the fun-filled atmosphere of fair rides. In 1999, 2400 students from all over the state participated and in 2000 more that 3800 students benefited from the day's activities. The South Carolina State Fair provides free entry and free rides to participating students and chaperones. The event is coordinated by the University of South Carolina Department of Physics and Astronomy.
