Tuesday April 19th QUIZ no. 4 Study Homework nos. 7 and 8, the examples 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, and examples 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3. ( examples in Ch.6, and examples 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 in 2nd ed.).
Tuesday April 12th at 11:40 AM HOMEWORK no. 8 Problems 7.20, 7.22, 8.1 and 8.17 ( 6.17, 6.19, 7.1 and 7.11 in 2nd ed.).
Tuesday April 5th at 11:40 AM HOMEWORK no. 7 Problems 7.12, 7.15 and 7.17 ( 6.9, 6.12 and 6.14 in 2nd ed.).
Tuesday March 29th QUIZ no. 3 Study Homework nos. 5 and 6. In addition, study example 4.5 in 3rd ed. [ section 4.4.3 up to Eq.(4.184) in 2nd. ed.], study also sections 5.1, 5.2 and example 5.1 in Chapter 5, and section 7.1 and example 7.1, Chapter 7 in 3rd. ed. [ example 6.1 in Ch. 6 ].
Tuesday March 22nd at 11:40 AM HOMEWORK no. 6 Problems 7.1, 7.2 and 7.5 (6.1, 6.2 and 6.4 in 2nd. ed.) . In problem 7.2 and 7.5 (6.2 and 6.4) , please use the raising and lowering operators in Chapter 2, Eqs. 2.67 and 2.70 (2.66 and 2.69 in 2nd ed.).

Thursday, Febr. 3rd QUIZ no.1 STUDY HOMEWORK PROBLEMS NO. 1 AND 2, AND the example in section 4.1 in the textbook. In addition, study problems 4.12 and 4.13 in the textbook (problems 4.10 and 4.11 in the 2nd ed.).
January 27 at 11:40 AM HOMEWORK no. 2 Problems 4.4 (4.3 in 2nd ed.) and 4.11 (4.9 in 2nd ed.)(see section 2.6 in textbook). Graduate students include problems 4.47 (4.39; 2nd ed.).
January 20 at 11:40 AM HOMEWORK no. 1 Problems 4.1 and 4.2 [except 4.2 (c)]. Use the infinite 1-D square well arguments section 2.2 of the textbook to solve problem 4.2. Physics graduate students solve in addition problem 2.16 (2.17 in 2nd ed.).
