Professor F.T. Avignone III has been awarded the 2008 CNTA Distinquished Scientist Award.
Current Faculty Searches Undergraduate Student Awards Oliver Ralf Gothe named the Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for 2008. Matt Enright graduated in May with degrees in physics, mathematics, and French and will be a Fulbright Research Scholar in Germany. Enright plans to earn a Ph.D. to prepare him for a career in university teaching and research in nuclear physics.
